Tom Swift, the son of a wealthy inventor, loves machines as much as some boys love baseball. Studying under his father tutelage, after graduating from the local academy, Tom leads a ordinary if a bit boring life. That is until some scoundrels decide to steal his father’s turbine motor in a hope to swindle the patent. Unexpectedly Tom finds himself in the middle of investigation that results in his kidnapping. But ever resourceful, the young lad, with the help of a cast of characters and a recently acquired motor-cycle, Tom traps the patents thieves and rescues the day! Soon to be available!

Once again Tom finds himself involved with thieves. But this time someone steals the motor-boat he had just recently repaired and modified to his exact specification. At first he suspects the town bully, but if this is not the case, then can it possibly be the same thieves as before? You’ll just have to wait and listen!
