Woe to the artist without medium. Or at large.

Sump Pump Studio is a refuge for wanderlust talent. A place where world-class performances can be recorded on a waiter’s wages. Because sometimes all creativity requires is a little ingenuity…

And my husband’s home studio in our basement.

But what is it?

We’re storytellers extraordinaire. Really! We bring life to classic novels and plays. We don’t merely read, we perform. Using a cast of actors, the dialogue becomes dynamic and the author’s prose style is fully expressed. The result is a hybrid between a radio show and audio book in MP3 format.

What do I do?  A little bit of everything. I’m a writer, director, producer, engineer, designer, and occasionally lackey for the Foley artist. If you hear steps or running, that’s me!

What are we working on now? The cult classic boys series, Tom Swift! We are just wrapping up Tom Swift and his Motor-Cycle. Look for it in early fall! And I’m now finishing adaptations for Tom Swift and his Motor-Boat and Tom Swift and his Airship!
